Photos  Glacier NP 10/2003  Big Hole NB [Back] [Next] Big Hole National Battlefield, MT. This is where the US and the Nez Perce fought in August 1877. They are difficult to see, but the plain in the background is populated with the poles of a teepee village. It was a stricking view. 10/8/2003.
